Emily Corley

Communications and Engagement Specialist


Emily has over 10 years of experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors, with expertise in not-for-profit communications, including social science research, project reporting, audience participation and public information and marketing campaigns. 

She is passionate about active community collaboration on projects and is an advocate for self-determination. Her work focuses on uplifting the voices of underrepresented groups through relationship-building, research and writing.

Prior to joining Ideaspace, Emily worked as a Librarian for Vancouver Public Library, designing and delivering inclusive and equitable community programming and reducing barriers to community participation.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing and an MSc in Library and Information Management.
