Senior Communications Consultant

With more than 10 years of communications experience, most notably in the areas of strategic communications, issues management, media relations and stakeholder relations, Lauren brings her varied background in government, non-profit and arts and entertainment industries to the Ideaspace team.

Collaborative, strategic and adaptable, Lauren works to ensure your message is clear and connects with your audiences. Lauren believes successful projects are transparent and responsive to stakeholders and knows how to pivot strategies based on feedback and changing situations.

Prior to joining the Ideaspace team, Lauren worked as a Communications Manager for the City of Vancouver. She acted as the communications lead on many highly complex files such as temporary modular housing, homeless encampments, the ongoing overdose crisis, affordable housing and developing the City’s first creative strategy.

Lauren completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. Lauren is trained in municipal emergency management operations.
