Review and Update Consultations
In response to the 2015 drought in the Lower Mainland, Diana designed and led a consultation program to gather feedback from municipal staff, stakeholders, and the public through meetings, workshops, focus groups, and surveys. Insights informed a comprehensive review, leading to the drafting of an updated WSRP in collaboration with Metro Vancouver's technical and legal teams.
The updated WSRP, approved in 2017, reflects community input and technical advancements, ensuring a fair, efficient, and resilient approach to managing future water shortages in the face of growing demand and climate change.
